Texol® Gear Oil SAE 85W-140 GL-5 is made using high quality paraffinic lube base stocks and carefully selected Gear Oil additives. These additives provide protection from wear, rust and oxidation. The extreme pressure additives based on Sulphur and Phosphorus chemistry resist high and shock loads and are free from Lead.

Application Area

Texol® Gear Oil SAE 85W-140 GL-5 is used in automotive axles, hypoid Gears and Differentials operating under high speed to low speed; high torque conditions where GL-5 performance Gear Oil is required.
This product is also used in Heavy-Duty, NonSynchronized Manual Transmissions & lightly loaded synchromesh transmissions. These Gear Oils are recommended in auto steering gears where GL-5 performance Gear Oils are prescribed.
